Annie Lennox is doing remrakable work for the AIDS orphans of Africa and here is one example of why we should all do our bit to help these, the most vulnerable children on the planet.
When Vilele and his brothers lost both their mother and father to AIDS, they became what is commonly described as a "child headed household". There are an estimated twelve million orphaned children like them living in Sub Saharan Africa.
Since our first encounter 2007, the SING Campaign has followed their story. And with help from SING and the Treatment Action Campaign, their lives have been been supported and changed for the better.

Ignorance is not bliss. No one talks or likes to even here the words HIV this is a serious deadly virus that kills whom ever contracts it. After over 30 years there is still no cure. It was spoken about in the late 80’s and early 90’s but today it is hardly ever mentioned anymore. Why is this? The only time we seem to here the words HIV is when a celebrity contracts it. even then we hear basically nothing about the actual virus just about the celebrity in question. Thousands of people are infected, born and die from this lethal virus every year, all around the world. Pressure needs to be put on to the governments of the world to not sweep this under the rug anymore. I have personally spoken to a lot of teenagers about this virus from the age of 15 to 19 and a lot of them don’t even know what HIV and aids is, this is not a safe choice to make to keep our youth in the dark about this deadly virus. The more people aware of HIV the better the chances of it not being contracted.
