ROTARY INTERNATIONAL THEME FOR 2026-2027

Monday October 26th 2026

President Elect Michael Trinidad welcomed 15 of our members to the meeting last night.  It was a quick meeting with so many of our members away at present.   We wish those travelling to Japan today, a safe journey and a memorable one.

There was very little to discuss tonight however we did talk about:

From Annie: “The following have offered to help with the BBQ  next Tuesday at the TAFE at Boorooma at 12 noon.”  Mary, Myffy, Happy, Annie, Daryl, Alex, Mark DuBois, Don (if possible)

Thank you” Annie

The upcoming AGM was discussed briefly and PE Michael handed out nomination forms for his Board.

We then held a Melbourne Cup Sweep with two pools one for $2.00 and one for $5.00.

Daryl suggested that the meeting on December 7th with the Gears & Beers from Wollundry RC be a partners night.  So make sure that you invite your partner or any guests, who may be interested in the post mortem of the last very successful Gears & Beers weekend.

The evening ended with our raffle draw which Annie won first  prize and there were 6 other minor prizes in a Chinese dinner for one.

Thanks to PE Michael for being the Chair tonight.  The meeting closed at 8.40pm.

STOP THE PRESS MELBOURNE CUP SWEEP WINNERS.

Thankyou Graham for sending these through:
