October 2017

Some years ago in the Melbourne, Australia, museum where my daughter used to work, an iron lung was on display. For most people my age who remembered the terrifying polio epidemics of the 1950s, that iron lung was a testament to how far vaccination had brought us: to the point where that once-critical piece of medical equipment had literally become a museum piece.

DISTRICT GOVERNOR ELECT NEWS:

Last week I attended in all 7 meetings:

Probably the most enjoyable was the Sydney Rotary Club’s Rotary Means Business Breakfast meeting at the Grace Hotel in York Street.

Rotary Means Business Sydney Rotary Club

Personal Brand Photographer, Zahrina Robertson, was the guest presenter at Sydney Rotary Club’s monthly Business and Networking Breakfast.  Only 2 silver haired gentlemen there all  the others are young and some potential Rotarians as well. This is an excellent way to meet potential customers and to introduce people to Rotary.
